This Privacy Policy explains what data Wordweav (“we”, “us”) collects through CV Builder (the “Service”), why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It’s written to be read alongside our Terms of Service.

• Account data: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to identify your data.
• Content you create: anything you type into the Service, including CV/resume details (which may include your name, contact information, and work history), cover letters, job descriptions, notes, and application status.
• Technical data: standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, generated automatically when you use the Service.
• Session cookie: one strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

• To operate the Service: save and let you edit your CVs, cover letters, and job applications.
• To authenticate you, by emailing you a one-time sign-in code.
• To power AI features: when you use a feature like cover letter drafting, bullet rewriting, or match scoring, the relevant content (for example, your CV and a job description) is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the result. We don’t use your content to train our own models.
• To send you transactional email, such as sign-in codes, related to your account.
• To keep the Service secure and to diagnose problems.

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with:

• Service providers that host our database and application infrastructure.
• Our email delivery provider, to send sign-in codes.
• Our AI provider, limited to the content needed to generate the specific output you requested.
• Anyone we’re required to share it with to comply with the law or protect our rights.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we’ll delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain something to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypting traffic to the Service in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below; we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

The Service isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on those providers’ safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
